On 1 March 2026, IDS officially purchased the Canon Bay of Plenty dealership, marking an exciting step forward for our business as we bring the operation into the IDS family.
For the Bay of Plenty region, it’s very much business as usual. The same locally owned business, the same trusted team (with a few new faces joining), and the same commitment to service and support will continue.
The acquisition allows IDS to strengthen what we already do, with additional resources behind the scenes and an even stronger ability to support businesses across the Bay of Plenty.
